Arizona's maverick Sheriff Joe Arpaio promised surprises in his jurisdiction's investigation of Barack Obama's eligibility for the presidential ballot and his Cold Case Posse is delivering – raising questions that touch on the authenticity of the long-form birth certificate issued last April and the possibility Obama is using a fraudulent Social Security Number.

Sources close to the investigation say the posse has decided it needs to see original birth records before it can conclude whether Obama should be eligible for the presidential ballot in 2012, not an electronic file or scanned copies.

The sources say the panel needs to examine the microfilm documenting Obama's birth, as well as the ink-and-paper original 1961 birth records the Hawaii Department of Health is holding in its vault.

The PDF file and various scanned copies of the birth certificate that the White House released April 27 are simply not good enough, the posse has determined.

WND also has reported that the Obama birth certificate's number appears to be out of sequence with the birth certificates of the Nordyke twins.

The Nordyke twins were born Aug. 5, 1961, one day after Obama, and their birth certificates were registered Aug. 11, 1961, three days later than Obama. Yet their birth certificates have lower numbers.

Occupy San Diego Protesters Removed For Unlawful Assembly

SAN DIEGO -- A legion of officers in riot gear cleared Occupy San Diego protesters out of their unauthorized urban squatters' camp at Civic Center Plaza early Friday, arresting dozens of activists who refused to cooperate with the predawn expulsion.

The dismantling of the downtown tent community, deemed an unlawful assembly by the city, began about 2 a.m. and lasted roughly 45 minutes, according to San Diego police. There were no reports of injuries as 40 people were taken into custody, though two of the detainees resisted and had to be forcibly subdued, SDPD public affairs Lt. Andra Brown said.

During the sweep, overseen by Police Chief William Lansdowne and his highest-ranking department heads, some of the demonstrators relocated south to Children's Park. Since that recreation area is closed daily between midnight and 6 a.m., officers cleared it, as well, taking 11 more people into custody in the process.

Video shows bully attacking 15-year-old gay student

More and more people are speaking out against bullying, but the practice remains distressingly common in the nation's schools. All too often, gay teens are the victims. The newest example is especially disturbing.

In Chillicothe, Ohio, a 15-year-old gay teen was beaten in a school classroom. The incident was captured on camera, revealing a classroom full of students who did nothing to break up the assault.

The attacking student has received a three-day suspension, but Rebecca Collins, mother of the student who was beaten, says this isn't enough. She is pursuing her options with law enforcement. Her son, who was also harassed on Facebook, suffered a possible concussion and a chipped tooth in the attack. You can watch the video footage of the assault after the jump, but should be warned that it makes for disturbing viewing.

A board of county commissioners in North Carolina is asking the Supreme Court for help: Its members don't believe they should have to forbid volunteers from mentioning the name of Jesus in prayers offered before their meetings.

But the American Civil Liberties Union and Americans United for Separation of Church and State are standing by their victory in a U.S. circuit court decision that states even "a solitary reference to Jesus Christ" in invocations before the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners' meetings could do "violence to the pluralistic and inclusive values that are a defining feature of American public life."

Furthermore, wrote Judge James Harvie Wilkinson III in the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals majority opinion, legislative invocations offered in Jesus' name are inherently "sectarian" and thus should be censored lest they make some attendees feel "uncomfortable, unwelcome and unwilling to participate in … public affairs."

An advisory board said Friday that ethical issues need to be resolved -- but if that can be accomplished the vaccine can be tested in children to be sure it's safe and to learn the proper dose in case it's needed in a terrorist attack.

Because of concerns that terrorists might use the potentially deadly bacteria, the government has stockpiled the vaccine. It has been widely tested on adults but never on children.

Occupy Madison loses permit

City officials temporarily denied Occupy Madison a new street use permit Wednesday after protesters violated public health and safety conditions and failed to follow the correct processes to renew or amend a permit.

The permit, which expired Wednesday at noon, required Occupy Madison protesters to relocate from their current space at 30 West Mifflin Street, also called 30 on the Square.

A neighboring hotel's staff alleged voiced concerns about having to recently escort hotel employees to and from bus stops late at night due to inappropriate behavior, such as public masturbation, from street protesters.

Sheriff Joe predicts Obama investigation to be a 'shock'

The results of a formal law-enforcement investigation into whether Barack Obama is eligible to be president of the United States could come as a "shock," according to Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Tuesday night, speaking to a tea-party group in Arizona, Arpaio said, "I can't tell you everything, but there could be a shock there somewhere that my guys came up with. I can't talk too much about it. It's in the process."

WND previously has reported that Arpaio has constituted a special five-member law enforcement posse to investigate allegations brought by members of the Surprise, Ariz., Tea Party that the birth certificate released to the public April 27 might be a forgery.

The posse, assembled under the authority of Arpaio's office, consists of three former law enforcement officers and two retired attorneys with law enforcement experience. Members have been examining evidence since September concerning Obama's eligibility to be president under Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution, which requires a president to be a natural-born citizen.

A recent Center for Security Policy study called "Shariah Law and American State Courts: An Assessment of State Appellate Court Cases outlines dozens of cases in which the Islamic system of law has been applied.

Center spokesman David Reaboi said the Islamic strictures are being carried out mostly in cases in which foreigners are the principals.

School District Reverses Prohibition of the Word "Bible" on a Christian Program's Flyer

The Pajaro Valley Unified School District approved Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Santa Cruz County to distribute permission slips for it's Good News Club after-school program for students. The district originally did not allow CEF to distribute permission slips, simply because the slips contained the word "Bible," describing "Bible stories." Liberty Counsel represents CEF in this case.

CEF was told by the district that the word "Bible" in its permission slip must be removed in order to utilize the school's flyer distribution channels. The district's flyer distribution policy prohibited distribution of anything the district considered to be promoting a specific religion or "proselytizing." CEF called Liberty Counsel, which wrote a letter to the district requesting an immediate amendment of their policy and approval of CEF's flyers for distribution. The district responded with an abrupt reversal and expedited decision to allow CEF to distribute its permission slips.

The Supreme Court has clearly ruled that public schools must provide equal access and treatment to religious speech. Equal treatment applies to use of facilities and every other opportunity provided to secular speech or groups. We are pleased that the school district did the right thing after the officials learned of the law regarding the First Amendment. Good News Clubs have been widely accepted on public school campuses across the country. They provide great programs for children.

This is the first in a two-part series examining how researcher Ron Polland created a forged duplicate of the Obama long-form birth certificate released April 27 by the White House. This article details the methodology Polland used to deconstruct the White House document for the purpose of reconstructing his forged version. The second article will examine Polland's belief that the White House document was forged and his deductions about the alleged forger.

Researcher Ron Polland, known for his forensic investigation of Barack Obama's short-form birth certificate, now has constructed from scratch a duplicate of the document released by the White House in April, seeking to validate his contention that it was created by a forger.

"I created Obama's short-form birth certificate in 2008," Polland told WND, "and now I made Obama's long-form birth certificate."

As WND previously reported, Polland has demonstrated that during the 2008 presidential election campaign, the White House website posted an image of a short-form Obama Certification of Live Birth that actually was a forgery created by Polland, not a scan of an original certificate obtained from the Hawaii Department of Health.

"My recreation of the short-form was so convincing, the White House posted it on the White House website, claiming it was the real deal," Polland told WND. "In August 2008, I successfully duplicated the short-form in what I believe is the only way it could have been made. Wrestling champion Hulk Hogan supported President Obama in 2008, but alas, the honeymoon is over, Hogan said Thursday during a Fox News appearance.

"I was a big Obama supporter and kinda, like, believed everything he said he was gonna do," Hogan said on Fox and Friends. "But now that nothing's happened..."

Hogan said he was still sore about the president using his theme song, "I Am a Real American" when Obama addressed the 2011 White House Correspondents' Dinner shortly after he released his long form birth certificate earlier this year.

"I kinda was a little upset that he didn't ask me permission to use my music," Hogan added. "But the change of heart is that I think I should be president. I know nothing about politics. I think a flat tax across the board would straighten everything out."

When told that the Hulk's idea sounds something like presidential candidate Herman Cain's "9-9-9 Plan," he responded, "Wow, yeah well he's not a real American like I am. . . . I've been around, people know me, they know everything about me, they know I'm for real, they know I know nothing about politics. I'll just make decisions on what's right or wrong."

Cain, who has never held elective office, was the first choice of 27 percent of Republican voters, followed by former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney at 23 percent and Perry at 16 percent, the poll found.

Texas School District Fully Vindicates Christian Student After Wrongful Suspension

The Fort Worth Independent School District has issued a letter to Liberty Counsel fully vindicating high school freshman, Dakota Ary, who was given in-school suspension for telling another student that he believes homosexuality is wrong because of his Christian faith. The letter is in response to Liberty Counsel's demand letter requesting full vindication and a full retraction of the suspension. The District's letter will be placed in Dakota's permanent file to further clear his record. Liberty Counsel is representing Dakota in this case.

The District's letter apologized for the delay in returning Dakota back to the classroom, and stated that "Dakota has the right to express an opinion in a manner consistent with law and policy.&rdquo.

Dakota was in Kristopher Franks' German language class at Western Hills High School when the topic of homosexuality arose. Dakota said to one of his classmates, "I'm a Christian and, to me, being homosexual is wrong." Franks overheard the comment, wrote Dakota an infraction, and sent him to the principal's office. The class topic was religious beliefs in Germany. During the discussion, one student asked what Germans thought about homosexuality in relation to religion. Another student then asked to hear some translated terms such as "lesbian." These questions provoked the conversation about Christianity and Dakota's expression of his opinion to one classmate.

The discipline referral form says the comment was out of context, even though the lesson for the day was on religious beliefs. Franks charged Dakota with "possible bullying" and indicated, "It is wrong to make such a statement in public school." Franks was temporarily placed on administrative leave with pay last week. No public school teacher should use the position of authority to bully students to accept homosexuality. That is what this teacher did and he got his hand caught in the cookie jar. We want to make sure this never again happens to any student.

Palin Opts Against 2012 Presidential Run

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced Wednesday that she won't enter the 2012 presidential race, making it all but certain that the current crop of GOP candidates has been set.

In a letter to her supporters, the 2008 vice presidential nominee and Fox News contributor said her decision was based on a "review of what common sense conservatives and independents have accomplished, especially over the last year."

I think governor Mike Huckabee would be perfect for president but like Sarah he has opted out of the running. So the question remains, who will we here at TWAU support and back for president? I have to say the more I listen to Herman Cain speak the more I like him.

His head and heart are in the right place, he's intelligent. I wish he could have been our first black president. It would have been nice to have it go down in history that our first black president was a God loving great leader. Not the sin advocating moron that we have in office now.



Herman Cain seems to be a very genuine man. You can tell when people are real and good hearted. I see that in MR. Cain. So I'm proud to state that The World Around Us Blog officially supports Herman Cain for president!

Our decision to support Herman Cain is based on the assumption he wins the GOP nomination. We also go on record in saying we will support who ever the GOP nominee is. But at this point we believe Cain to be the best choice.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama's sweeping healthcare overhaul will top the agenda in the new Supreme Court term that opens on Monday and could be the most momentous in decades.

Returning from its three-month recess, the nation's highest court will confront legal challenges seeking to strike down Obama's signature domestic policy achievement and a host of other charged issues in its 2011-12 term.

Other big cases pit privacy rights against new police tracking technology, involve jail strip searches and address a free-speech challenge by broadcasters to a U.S. government ban on nudity and blurted expletives on television.

More blockbuster cases on using race in college admissions, on Arizona's tough law cracking down on illegal immigrants and on the rights of same-sex adoptive parents may be added to the docket later in the nine-month session.

Obama: Commander in chief must support gay troops

WASHINGTON (AP) — In a sharp rebuke of his Republican rivals, President Barack Obama said anyone who wants to be commander in chief must support the entire U.S. military, including gay service members.

A combative Obama criticized GOP presidential candidates for staying silent when the crowd at a recent debate booed a gay soldier who asked a question of the contenders via videotape.

"You want to be commander in chief? You can start by standing up for the men and women who wear the uniform of the United States, even when it's not politically convenient," Obama said during remarks at the annual dinner of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest gay rights organization.

Comments by L. Buren of TWAU blog: No Obama, you stand up for military soldiers as soldiers. You do not identify any of them according to their sexuality. A person who lives their life gay does not mean they are a gay soldier. It means they are a soldier who has issues to fix.

Obama and other homosexual advocates need to understand that people who live gay lives are not their own people group. It's not a race like being black or asian.

Being gay is not an identity. It's an activity and nothing more. Let's put Obama's words in a clearer light so that everyone can understand what he is essentially saying. (To be commander in chief, means to stand up for not only the normal soldiers but the ones who like to orally copulate and sodomize other men as well).

That is essentially what he's saying. The whole thing with openly serving gay in the military really makes no sense. What does that even mean? Gays are free to openly try to seduce their fellow soldiers of the same sex? Or to flamboyantly act girlish in the showers or bunks? I don't get it.

Sexuality and what your sexual actions are don't ever come into play in military. So it must be just all part of the gay agenda. If they can get things to happen like lifting don't ask don't tell it furthers their agenda in forcing society to deal with the sick perversion of homosexuality even more. Comments?

Obama is all for men sucking other men's penis's but he doesn't care if an innocent baby is killed from in the womb. He's a real class act.
