Depression

I wanted to cover the topic of depression a little bit. First off let me ask you this? What is depression? Depression is an emotion, a feeling. It's not a clinical problem. It's not something you want to see a doctor about or take medication for.

Depression is an amplified feeling of sorrow. So with that said, what needs to be done to remedy depression is fix the issue(s) that is causing you to be depressed. Some may be depressed because they have money woes, or have lost a loved one. There are many things that can cause depression.

Just as there are many things that can cause anger and happiness. Like I stated before, depression is a feeling/emotion. Modern day medicine is on a dangerous trend. Handing out so called anti-depressants like they are candy. At the very least people need to try and remedy their depression issues on their own by dealing with whatever issue is causing them to feel depressed. At the very most perhaps seek out counseling. Many people do not realise that doctors have no idea what anti-depressants do to your brain. I mean, they know it does something, they just are not sure exactly what.

They also don't know what long term effects could take place by taking such mind altering medication. Taking medication for depression is just like taking a medication because someone says they are too happy! Happiness, anger, depression are all natural emotions. They are feelings. Not medical conditions.

The sad thing is that people who feel down or sad, will see their doctors and inform them that they feel depressed, and all the doctor does is prescribe some meds that make you feel doped up, and out of it. The medication does not cure depression, it only blankets your mind so you don't feel up to going anywhere or even thinking all that much.

The proper way to deal with depression is to first, zero in on what's making you depressed and choose to fix it, not take a pill and claim that I'm just a depressed person. And I need to pop this pill for the rest of my life.

Doctors are not perfect, they make mistakes, and they do not know everything. It's also important to know that if you are currently taking anti-depressants to not stop taking them all of a sudden. This could have serious consequences. If you have been taking them a while, your most likely addicted to them now.

Seek out a good Christian/creationist doctor, who can slowly remove you from the meds by lowering the dosage amounts over time. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me: lionheart_209@yahoo.com
