Tea Party favorite Rand Paul is leading Secretary of State Trey Grayson in Tuesday's GOP Senate primary in Kentucky, with an eye toward giving the anti-big government movement its most significant political victory yet.
The Kentucky primary is one of several high-stakes Senate races in three states that political analysts are closely watching to determine the mood of the country's electorate less than five months before November's elections in which Republicans will seek to regain control of both houses in Congress.
Sen. Arlen Specter is fighting for his political career in Pennsylvania against Rep. Joe Sestak in the Democratic primary. And Sen. Blanche Lincoln is trying to save her job in Arkansas against Lt. Gov. Bill Halter.
In a fourth race with national implications, Republican Tim Burns and Democrat Mark Critz vied to fill out the final few months in the term of the late Rep. John Murtha in southwestern Pennsylvania.
In Kentucky, Grayson is backed by the state's Republican establishment while Paul enjoyed the support of the Tea Party, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, retiring Sen. Jim Bunning and conservative Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina.

PHOENIX – As calls spread for an economic boycott of Arizona, the state's governor enlisted the help of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday to defend a new law cracking down on illegal immigration.
Jan Brewer and Palin blamed President Barack Obama for the state law, saying the measure is Arizona's attempt to enforce immigration laws because the federal government won't do it.
"It's time for Americans across this great country to stand up and say, 'We're all Arizonans now,'" Palin said. "And in clear unison we say, 'Mr. President: Do your job. Secure our border.'"

Governor Palin is right! I support Arizona 110%, and I think all 50 states should pass the same law! Obama is a moron, so you can't expect that he would act to secure the borders.

STOCKHOLM (AP) — A Swedish artist who angered Muslims by depicting the Prophet Muhammad as a dog was assaulted as furious protesters interrupted his university lecture about the limits of free speech.
Lars Vilks told The Associated Press that a man leaped from the front row and head-butted him Tuesday as he was delivering his lecture at Uppsala University, breaking Vilks' glasses but leaving him uninjured.
Police later said the attacker was stopped before he could reach Vilks and that the artist may have bumped into plain-clothes officers who briskly evacuated him from the room. Three people were detained, but it wasn't immediately clear whether the attacker was among them.
A video clip of the incident by a Swedish newspaper showed police using pepper spray and batons to hold off an angry crowd shouting "God is great" in Arabic after Vilks was escorted out of the lecture hall.

In his speech in Michigan, the President also said, "We, the people, hold in our hands the power to choose our leaders and change our laws, and shape our own destiny."
Mr. Obama, if that is truly the philosophy of your presidency, why has your administration so consistently thwarted the clearly expressed will of the American people?
Transparency? Responsiveness to the people? ObamaCare was passed through backroom deals, legislative maneuvering, and political arm-twisting done at stunning, unprecedented levels.
And ObamaCare's heavy-handed, unconstitutional expansion of government into the private lives of Americans has paved the way for EVEN MORE oppressive attacks on our faith, families and freedom.
Right now, a $50 billion fund to liquidate troubled banks is being debated on the Senate floor. Working with Majority Leader Harry Reid, President Barack Obama has once again used his "bully pulpit" to push what has been accurately described as "a permanent TARP bailout."
Cap and Trade, which Senator Reid has recently "expedited" in the Senate, would add additional taxes to businesses and impose substantial expenses on all Americans. And Democrats have threatened to use arrogant "ObamaCare tactics" to pass this unwanted, unneeded legislation.
And President Obama has vowed to do "whatever is necessary" to get the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) enacted and get the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) repealed. Both of these agenda items promote homosexuality, literally elevating GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transsexual) persons to "protected status" under the law - all against the will of most Americans.

Ok, I have to address a couple things here. First off, protesters. Where do these idiots work? Let me know, because I'de love to have a job that allows you to take time off to go be an idiot with a sign. Clearly, the protesters are the states unemployed trying to get on the news. Get a job and a life.
Secondly, Arizona did the right thing here, it's not racist to enforce the law. It doesn't matter if the illegals are black, brown or white. If your here illegally, your illegal! My hat goes off to Arizona. And I hope the other states follow their example.
