U.S. Senate candidate Todd Akin explains "legitimate rape" comments on Huckabee show

The media is trying to hang Akin out to dry over his comment. The guy just misspoke. Not that big a deal. People need to get over it. Making a big deal out of nothing is just stupid.

Radio talk show host Tom Sullivan is trying to say Akin won't step down because of a huge ego. That is absolutely incorrect. But I'm glad Akin is not stepping aside. He still has our support, and the support of the GOP population in America.

We stand by Mike Huckabee and Rush Limbaugh in support of Todd Akin. The idea of ruining a career over a mistaken comment is something of the past.
