Bush explains slow reaction to September 11 attacks

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Former President George W. Bush says his apparent lack of reaction to the first news of the September 11 2001 attacks was a conscious decision to project an aura of calm in a crisis.

In a rare interview with the National Geographic Channel, Bush reflects on what was going through his mind at the most dramatic moment of his presidency when he was informed that a second passenger jet had hit New York's World Trade Center.

Bush was visiting a Florida classroom and the incident, which was caught on TV film, and has often been used by critics to ridicule his apparently blank face.

"My first reaction was anger. Who the hell would do that to America? Then I immediately focused on the children, and the contrast between the attack and the innocence of children," Bush says in an excerpt of the interview shown to television writers on Thursday.

Bush said he could see the news media at the back of the classroom getting the news on their own cellphones "and it was like watching a silent movie."

Bush said he quickly realized that a lot of people beyond the classroom would be watching for his reaction.

"So I made the decision not to jump up immediately and leave the classroom. I didn't want to rattle the kids. I wanted to project a sense of calm," he said of his decision to remain seated and silent.

So many critics were so fast to judge president Bush that they passed judgement on him before knowing the whole story. But even knowing the whole story wouldn't change much, once they decided to blame Bush for everything that's what they were going to do regardless of facts.

So while we're on the subject of facts, let's state some right now. President George W. Bush was one of the greatest American presidents in history, ranking up there with George Washington and Ronald Reagan.

Unlike the joke we currently have sitting in the oval office, Bush gave glory to God.
Not just with lips, but with actions. It's our opinion that Mike Huckabee could have been among those top ranked presidents had he decided to run this time around.

California Gov Signs wicked Law to Teach Gay history

California has become the first state in the nation to require public schools to add lessons about gay history to social studies classes, after Gov. Jerry Brown (D) signed the landmark bill on Thursday.

The Democratic-majority Legislature passed the bill last week on a largely party-line vote.

The bill has drawn criticism from some churches and conservative groups that argue such instruction would expose students to a subject that some parents find objectionable.

We here at TWAU, are very disappointed that governor Brown decided to sign this terrible bill into law. Just another reason that parents should home-school their children while the law still permits. Home schooling, is still a quality education and parents can filter out garbage like evolution teachings and pro-homosexual sin.

This truly is a horrible law. God forbids homosexuality and the Bible clearly teaches that it is wrong and a perverse abomination.

I urge teachers out there, to not teach such a subject to kids so young. Even if it's in the curriculum.

Same-sex marriage backers consider new ballot measure

I can't see why it makes sense for them to consider a new ballot measure, when they already know Californians oppose gay marriage. As far as it being decided by courts, to me that's ridiculous! The people have already spoken. It should not be able to be appealed in the courts. Judicial tyranny is out of control in America!

People of California, this is serious, and these lost souls will not stop until they get what they want. So I urge you to do all that you can to help stop this evil idea called gay marriage from happening in our great state. You can pray for God to stop it. Make sure you vote against it. Make sure all of your friends and family vote against it. Even though you shouldn't have to, it's already been voted on.

Pray for the eye opening of these lost souls who are stuck in a perverse way of life.

A few items of interest

Here it is May 23rd and we are all still here. The false prophet Harold Camping was incorrect for his 2nd prediction on the rapture. Sadly many were deceived by this loony guy. He tried to calculate the date of judgement based on a false religion called numerology. The Bible teaches something contrary to what Camping was saying.

On the political front, governor Mike Huckabee disappointed thousands of followers when he stated he would NOT be running for president in 2012. At this point TWAU is not quite sure who it will back in the 2012 race.

The supreme court rules that California prisons must find a way to release more inmates for constitutional reasons. We find this to be strange given that California inmates are some of the most spoiled/pampered inmates in the nation.

On a more fun note: The movie THOR recently was released in movie theatre across America. I went to see it. And loved it. I highly recommend it for the family.

GOP Hits Obama Early in Debate

You can click the title headline to read the article written about GOP candidates. But it's actually pretty weak, considering they didn't even mention the guy who will win the GOP nomination in 2012. Governor Mike Huckabee. He hasn't announced he is running yet, but he will. And he will win.

Obama may have by chance been at the helm when Bin Ladin was killed. But, he would have been killed regardless of that fact. Obama is still a horrible person to have in the oval office. His corrupt and immoral policies are destroying America.

If you want a president with proven leadership skills. A leader who stands on Biblical principles! And has morals. You want to vote for Mike Huckabee in 2012!

(California) Senate approves six state worker labor contracts

For some reason the republican party and the media have waged war against state workers in many states. And are out to bring down big unions. We believe they are simply seeking something to blame for money problems. What they need to understand is that unions are essential for state workers to get a fair shake with their work conditions.

Many private sector workers are extremely jealous of state workers pay, so they often verbally bash them. But hey, they could have been a state worker to if they would have just finished school, and decided to do something with their life. Instead most private sector workers in California choose to either become incarcerated or advocate the evil path an inmate family member has went down.

Governor Brown gave the CCPOA an ok contract considering the states money woes. But the CCPOA gave up a lot. But we urge you the readers regardless of your political party to support state workers. Who typically are Law enforcement officers and Fire fighters.

We find it interesting and disgusting how the SacBee likes to make it seem the CCPOA's contract is some what of a sweethearts deal. We see a lot of bias in the SacBee's writing. But what do you expect from an organization that is so liberal and wicked it supports inmate rights?

Obama releases birth certificate, proves himself not qualified to be president!

The "Certificate of Live Birth" document released by the White House today, if authentic, assures Americans that their president was born in Hawaii as he has said, according to two participants in a lawsuit who challenged the president's tenure in the Oval Office.

But they say it also proves he's ineligible under the Constitution's requirements to be president.

So, assuming the birth certificate that Obama released is the real one, and we have our doubts on that. It still proves he isn't constitutionally qualified to be in office. His dad was not American.

People will take this to court, but in years past, the courts choose to protect the illegal occupancy of Obama in the white house.

I urge the American people to fight for the removal of Obama! He is not an American! He needs to go! Support Mike Huckabee for president in 2012!
